I thought the amount of dialogue in Trouble with Lichen was a bit excessive. May 20, Elizabeth Elwood rated it liked it. It was only at the end that it struggled, but I felt it was more that the world was clearly a binary to Wyndham – men vs women – where time has shown that it is not and there are many more groups and identities to consider than just two.
