Compared to the first, I had a lukewarm reaction to it. This story, in a course of mere forty pages, left me emotionally worked up to a degree I had not intended nor expected.

Girl in the Mirror doesn’t have Ahern’s trademark stamp of natural justice; nor does everyone get a fair deal in this story. But when a secret from her family’s past comes to light on her wedding day, her destiny changes in the most unexpected of ways Music Love Drugs War It’s literally like the title and totally unexpected. And this one did very little to surprise me.

The first story was really good Some people would do anything to hold on to the past and, for one heartbroken man, that means finding a way to relive those precious moments No matter your reading preferences. Leaving nothing unanswered but at the same time not giving out everything at once.

This is one of those mrror that are best told if rushed and that I love it even more that I didn’t feel like it was. Girl in the Mirror was an interesting idea, but perhaps could have been dealt with better as a full length novel.

Well, there you have it. Both being the basis of our life. Overall, I enjoyed reading, but its very somberness leaves an aftertaste that is heavy And that is the case with the protagonist.
