Deady there were references to characters from the other series, you can easily follow along the action, and the story is for the most part self-contained.
At times Deadly is the Kiss felt like two different books — the first half was devoted to the fated mates connecting physically, while the second half was more action packed.
We first met Ashe and Juliana in Touch of Temptation where it’s clear there’s something between ks but they are both resisting for their own reasons. I’m a little interested in the Primal Instinct series that established this world to see if the characters deadky more development and therefore I enjoy it morebut I’m definitely in no hurry.
Their grudge is not with Ashe and when he stands in their way to the ultimate prize, all bets are off and Rhyannon gives readers enough fist fights, blood and gore to keep the action alive throughout.
Juliana is a young woman whose one decision rhyanon haunting her and she has the future of her family to consider. There were times when my e-reader practically singed my fingertips for the amount of heat that Ashe and Juliana generates, their desire for one another the stuff that happily ever afters are made of.

It was an alright read and I would probably read it again. The second half of this book was fabulous.
He’s stubborn but I’m glad that the animal attraction and passion made it impossible for them to tear each others’ clothes off. We’ll start with the deaxly and work our way to the good shall we?

Kjss fact, the only thing Byrd consistently delivers on is HOT SEXbut, alas, even that promise gets old after awhile – I’d like some well-done plot mixed in with the raunchy sex scenes please.
It’s a worthy spin-off of the Primal Instinct series. All the dirty work seemed at times to be behind the scenes.
rnyannon It felt odd and I think that because we only got to see the protagonists with eachother they lack a complexity that would have made the story ‘richer’.
