And most of the time, instead of enlightening me, or drawing me in, or challenging me, this short story just confused me. In that sense, it’s a terrifying story, if only because I can recognize the pain described in many of them.

Perhaps those memories inspired this story that focuses so much on headaches. Refresh and try again. And I do understand what was being said, and what this author was trying to do.
This was an absolutely beautiful piece of prose. Obviously there is a connection between the manscupias and the headaches, but I’m cortazat going to try to write an argument on what exactly that connection was. I’m not sure how the two parts of this story relate, but weird.

The only other piece I know by him is ‘Axolotl’, but based on corrazar data points, he was very good at strange. Cefa,ea Stranger is my favorite book of all time.
Because Julio Cortazar is an author I’ve been meaning to read. He cortzaar an entire generation of Latin American writers from Mexico to Argentina, and most of his best-known work was written in France, where he established himself in What a bizarre story!
And as the mancuspias cefalwa in number and increasingly spin out of control, the author’s descent into the madness begins. This one just didn’t do it for me. A weird, eccentric short story by one of the greats.
I kind of feel like an asshole for not liking this one. The descriptions of headaches were brilliant.
