If you are from Hospitality background, you will enjoy reading the book. Sangeeta Maithel i found sijgle good light reading in between books and some parts were laugh out loud funny to me! While the romance scenes are not very tense or romantic, Kala hits a bull’s-eye with the situations Bathia and her cohorts sinle themselves in.

Like all other bollywood flicks even this one has a happy ending. Looking for More Great Reads? Wearing modern clothes, smoking and drinking are not signs of modernity.

Reading this book reminded me quite a bit of Pride and Prejudice not coincidentally, other GR reviewers found it reminiscent of Bridget Ksla Diary. But if you’re looking for a look at the Indian culture’s treatment of marriage, even Chetan Bhagat’s 2 States would be a better pick. In the early chapters, I didn’t feel this to be a novel in an Indian setting, I felt the characters, basically everything, is too westernized.

Aisha Bathia is an independent year-old single woman living in New Delhi working as a guest relations manager at the five-star Grand Orchid Hotel. Not much of a story line in this book and the it ended as if advita writer ran out of pages. She portrays New Delhi as being as hip and urban as New York.
